The Brisbane Broncos finish the regular season with a huge game on Thursday night at home at Suncorp Stadium.

The Broncos have exceeded all expectations this year and to be up at the top of the table and vying for the minor premiership in the final round is an outstanding achievement that not many people saw coming at the start of the season.

Their performances this year are a credit to the super coach Wayne Bennett, the players, support staff and everyone involved with the organisation. They have certainly made their supporters proud and got the city of Brisbane right behind them again.

The Broncos have been in sensational form of late and will be looking to keep that going in the run into the finals. There is plenty to play for and they have a strong rivalry with Melbourne and their Queensland Origin connections.

What a great way to finish the home and away season. It will be Wayne Bennett versus Craig Bellamy once again, a big night of farewell celebrations for Brisbane’s Justin Hodges, and the opportunity to keep their momentum running into the finals.
